Privacy Policy
Effective July 8, 2026 — updated as the service grows
This Privacy Policy explains how LivoStage (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use the LivoStage website and related services (the “Service”). LivoStage uses artificial intelligence to create virtually staged images from room photographs. Privacy contact: sahmadtabish@gmail.com.
01Information we collect
Account information: your name, email address, authentication provider, account identifier, and creation date. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and are never stored in readable form by LivoStage.
Property and image content: listing names and addresses; room type, style, and staging selections; original room photographs; AI-generated staged images; notes; and feedback about generated results. Room photographs can contain personal information if they show people, family photos, documents, or other identifying details — please remove or avoid such content before uploading.
AI-processing consent: the date and version of the notice you accepted before a photo is sent to an AI provider.
Purchases and credits: Stripe processes payments; we do not receive or store your full card number. We retain product identifiers, purchase and refund status, transaction identifiers, and your credit balance and history.
Device and service information: limited technical information needed to operate and secure the Service — IP address, request time, browser type, error information, and server logs. We use first-party product analytics (which features are used, funnel events); we do not use third-party advertising or behavioral-advertising SDKs.
Communications: if you contact us, we keep your message and the information needed to respond.
02How we use information
- create, authenticate, and secure accounts;
- store, organize, and display listings and room images;
- send selected room photographs and staging instructions for AI processing;
- create and deliver staged images and preserve result history;
- process and reconcile purchases and credits;
- provide support and respond to requests;
- investigate failed generations, harmful output, fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- enforce our Terms of Use and protect users, LivoStage, and third parties;
- comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations; and
- improve reliability and staging quality using operational metrics and your feedback.
We do not use your room photographs or generated images in advertising, public galleries, or model training without your separate permission.
03AI image processing
When you stage a room after accepting the consent notice, LivoStage sends the selected photograph and staging instructions to our AI providers — currently OpenAI and, for some renders, fal.ai — acting as service providers. Under OpenAI’s API terms, inputs and outputs are not used to train its models by default and may be retained briefly for abuse monitoring, security, or legal compliance. Images may be automatically screened for prohibited content.
AI systems are probabilistic; a generated image may contain inaccuracies or artifacts. Review every result before publishing. You may withdraw consent for future AI processing by contacting sahmadtabish@gmail.com; staging will remain unavailable unless you consent again.
04Legal bases
Where a legal basis is required: contract (accounts, staging you request, purchases); consent (sending a photo to an AI provider); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, improvement, where not overridden by your rights); and legal obligation (required records and disclosures).
05How we disclose information
Only as needed for the purposes above, to:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and image storage;
- OpenAI and fal.ai — AI image generation and safety processing;
- Stripe — payment processing and receipts;
- Vercel and Render — web and API hosting, server logs.
These providers may process information in other countries and may use it only for contracted services or their independent legal obligations. We may also preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, or respond to an emergency; and information may be disclosed as part of a merger, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
LivoStage does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
06Retention and deletion
- Account records: while your account is active, until deletion completes.
- Photos, staged images, listings, feedback: until you delete the listing or account.
- Consent records and generation history: while the account is active and as needed to document compliance or resolve disputes.
- Purchase records: as needed for credits, refunds, disputes, and legal/tax obligations.
- Security and server logs: up to 90 days, unless needed for an investigation.
- Support communications: up to 24 months after resolution.
- Backups: deleted data may persist in protected backups for up to 35 days before overwrite.
When you permanently delete your account (Account page → Delete account), LivoStage removes the active account, listings, uploads, generated images, feedback, credits, and internal purchase records. We retain a one-way cryptographic hash of the deleted identifier solely to honor the deletion and prevent repeated trial-credit farming; it cannot restore the account. Deletion from LivoStage does not erase records independently controlled by Stripe, OpenAI, or other providers under their own legal duties.
07Security
We use safeguards designed to protect information: authenticated access, per-user authorization checks, short-lived signed media links, restricted server credentials, encrypted transport, verified payment webhooks, and deletion controls. No system can guarantee absolute security — protect your credentials and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, opt out of qualifying sharing, appeal a denied request, and complain to a supervisory authority. You can delete your account on the Account page; for anything else, contact sahmadtabish@gmail.com. We may verify your identity first, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. California residents: the categories in Section 01 are what we collect, used and disclosed for the purposes in Sections 02 and 05; we do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law.
09Children
LivoStage is a professional real-estate service for adults 18+. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Do not upload photographs containing identifiable children or other people.
10Changes and contact
We may update this policy as LivoStage changes or as required by law; we will update the effective date and provide notice before a material change, and re-request consent where a change materially affects AI photo processing. Questions, complaints, or privacy requests: sahmadtabish@gmail.com.
